Retinol cream in Pakistan for night repair
A retinol cream is a night product for texture, fine lines and uneven tone. In Pakistan, the safest routine is low and slow: apply retinol cream two to three nights a week, moisturise well, and wear SPF every morning because UV exposure can undo progress.
Hydra Glow Cream states its strength — retinol 0.3%, 50 ml at Rs. 1,449 — which is the thing this page says most creams sold here will not do. The same 0.3% is in the Age Defying Serum if you prefer a serum.

Retinol strengths and prices in Pakistan
Sold as retinol in Pakistan are three different things: retinol at a stated percentage, retinol at an unstated percentage, and retinyl palmitate — an ester that converts to retinol through two further steps and is far weaker at the same number. The cheapest creams here are almost always the third, and none of them says so on the front of the jar.
Prices were read from each brand's own product page on 5 September 2026, except the grey-imported rows, which come from Pakistani reseller listings the same day. Read the INCI list rather than the marketing. On both budget creams below, retinyl palmitate sits at or near the end of the ingredient list, which places it under 1% and usually far under. That is not a scandal at Rs. 560 — it is what the price buys — but it is not the same product as a stated 0.3%, and a brand that will not print a percentage has decided you should not be able to compare.
| Product | Retinoid and stated strength | Price |
|---|---|---|
| Elluvi Hydra Glow Cream | Retinol 0.3%, stated. With niacinamide 5%, alpha arbutin 2%, coenzyme Q10 1%, hyaluronic acid 0.5%. 50 ml cream | Rs. 1,449 (Rs. 29.0 per ml) |
| Olim Naturals Retinol Cream | Retinyl palmitate, listed last on the INCI. Percentage not stated. 55 g cream | Rs. 560 |
| Saeed Ghani Anti Aging Retinol Night Cream | Retinyl palmitate, not retinol. Percentage not stated. 40 g cream | Rs. 680 |

Who should choose retinol cream
Choose retinol cream if your skin is dry, normal or barrier-prone and you want a buffered night product. Cream formats can feel more comfortable than a standalone serum for some beginners.
Elluvi Hydra Glow Cream uses 0.3% retinol with niacinamide and alpha arbutin in a night cream format.
How to start retinol cream
Use at night only. Start two to three nights a week on clean, dry skin, then apply moisturiser if needed. Do not combine with another retinol product on the same night.
Retinol is not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Patch-test first and reduce frequency if dryness or irritation appears.
Retinol cream vs retinol serum
Retinol cream is usually better when you want a more cushioned night step. Retinol serum is better when you want a lighter treatment layer and can control moisturiser separately.
Retinol cream price in Pakistan
Elluvi Hydra Glow Cream is a 50 ml retinol night cream priced at Rs. 1,449 with Cash on Delivery across Pakistan.
A 50 ml night cream used a few nights a week lasts a long time, often five to six months. Retinol products look expensive next to a basic moisturiser until you work out the cost per night.
Who should choose a cream over a serum
Choose a cream if your skin runs dry, if you found a retinol serum too drying, if you prefer fewer steps at night, or if it is winter. Choose a serum if your skin is oily, if you want to control moisturiser separately, or if you already have a moisturiser you like.
The format also changes how the retinol is delivered. A cream base with emollients slows absorption slightly, which usually means less irritation but a gentler effect. That trade is worth taking if it is the difference between using it consistently and giving up.
How to apply a retinol night cream
On clean, completely dry skin, use a pea-sized amount for the whole face. Wait a few minutes after cleansing so skin is dry, then apply. No separate moisturiser is needed on top unless you feel tight.
Dry skin matters more than people expect. Applying any retinoid to damp skin increases absorption and irritation at the same time. Give it three to five minutes after washing before you apply anything.
Building tolerance without wrecking your barrier
Two nights a week for two weeks, then three nights for two weeks, then increase only if skin stays comfortable. Many people settle at three or four nights a week permanently, and that is a perfectly good outcome.
There is no prize for nightly use. Apply a small amount to a discreet area of the jawline once daily for 2–3 days. Stop if persistent redness, itching or irritation occurs. If you get flaking, pause for two or three nights, use only moisturiser, and restart at a lower frequency rather than stopping altogether.
Retinol cream in Pakistani summers
A richer night cream can feel heavy in June and July. If it does, either switch to a serum format for the hot months or apply it on alternate nights and use a lighter moisturiser in between.
Heat also affects the product. Keep it in a closed cupboard rather than a bathroom shelf, since bathrooms swing between hot and humid and neither helps retinol stability.

FAQs
Two ways to take the same active. Hydra Glow Cream is retinol 0.3% in a rich overnight base, with niacinamide, alpha arbutin and squalane alongside it. The Age Defying Serum is retinol 0.3% with a peptide complex and nothing occlusive, for skin that already has a moisturiser it likes. Both are night-only, and you use one of them, not both.
