The neck and jaw mismatch

A face lighter than the neck is almost always sun exposure rather than a product problem — the neck gets sunscreen last or not at all, and the mismatch builds over years. Extending both moisturiser and sunscreen down the neck fixes it slowly and nothing else does.

Inflammation is the cause people miss

Shaving rash, threading, harsh scrubs, over-exfoliation and untreated dryness all leave low-grade inflammation, and inflamed skin makes uneven pigment. Very often the fix is removing something from a routine rather than adding a cream to it.
